In April, you will be able to enjoy the 25th edition of the most important independent film festival in Latin America.

It's a great opportunity to see debuts by renowned authors and new talents, retrospectives and festivals by filmmakers from all over the world, thematic sections that showcase the current cinema panorama with special focuses such as music, comedies, novels and places.

This is how we live in 2023

The streets of the Microcenter and its historic movie theaters were in full cultural excitement: there were more than 250 films, many of them with free entry. El BAFICI values the historic center of the city and especially Calle Corrientes, the backbone of entertainment and culture.
In turn, the federal spirit of the Buenos Aires International Film Festival Independiente grew stronger through ABC Bafici, the mentoring program within the festival, and Vivamos Cultura, with more than 40% of the program being available virtually .
More than 30 programs of special activities related to the festival were also developed in 15 venues across the city.
