New measures as of July 27

On July 27, a six-stage plan went into effect to return, gradually and progressively, to the old normality. Each one will expand the allowed capacity and facilitate circulation in Buenos Aires, always depending on the epidemiological situation.

In this first stage, circulation will no longer be restricted and a permit to circulate will not be necessary, except for the use of public transport, where it joins the construction workers and where the certificate will continue to be requested. In addition, 11 subway stations will open, thus reaching 80 open of the 90 that the network has: Rio de Janeiro and Piedras (Line A); Tronador and Echeverría (Line B); Moreno and San Juan (Line C); José Hernández (Line D); Belgrano and Catalinas (Line E); Córdoba and Inclán (Line H).

Meetings in the open air and in public spaces will not have a maximum number of people. But the meetings in houses and apartments do, where only 10 people are allowed outdoors; that is, in patios, terraces or balconies.

In cultural areas, such as museums, cinemas and theaters, the maximum capacity of the rooms is kept at 50%, as are religious celebrations in temples. In hotels, the capacity increases to 50% in common areas and meeting tourism. The same capacity extends to shops.

Gyms that have closed spaces can increase their maximum capacity to 50%, as can day centers for the elderly and retirement centers, which can resume their activities with a 50% capacity and protocols.
