Dance for peace for UNICEF

The “Dance for Peace” galas are a meeting place for dancers and choreographers under the artistic direction of Leonardo Reale.

In 2020, the seventh edition was planned to be held in Buenos Aires and other cities. However, the coronavirus changed the plans: “We could not lose continuity and in this moment of pandemic, the only way was the virtual one. We had to make a new show for people to join in and collaborate with Unicef, buying tickets ranging from one hundred to ten thousand pesos, " explained Reale.

This Friday, June 19 at 8:00 p.m. , you can enjoy a live presentation of the "Hymn of Dancing for Peace" , which can be accessed via the link . Contributions are received starting at $ 100 that will go to benefit UNICEF.

The show will be presented by the Pucará Dance Company, the pas de deux of El Corsario's bedroom with Luciana Paris of the American Ballet Theater and Juan Pablo Ledo of the Stable Ballet of the Colón Theater.

Cecilia Figaredo and Hernán Piquín will dance the Goyeneche version of “Naranjo en Flor” and the Hallelujah by Händel, with the choreography of Mauricio Wainrot, by the Contemporary Ballet of the Teatro San Martín . Reale explained: “We continue with the idea of releasing material. And that is Co. Danza: 27 Argentine dancers dancing from their homes. ” The slogan under his direction was: "When the stages are empty, the dance world unites to bring us a message of hope . "
