International Book Fair 2025

From April 24 to May 12, Buenos Aires is dressed in letters with the 49th edition of the International Book Fair, an event that is already part of the city's cultural DNA. This year, the La Rural Exhibition Center will once again be the epicenter of this literary gathering, bringing together more than a million readers, writers, and book professionals.

With more than 45,000 square meters of exhibition space, the Fair promises to be a true feast for book lovers. There will be over 1,500 exhibitors from all over the world, book presentations, talks, conferences, and even a poetry festival. Additionally, Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, will be the Guest City of Honor, adding an exotic touch with its literature and traditions.

The inaugural ceremony, to be held on April 24 at 6:00 PM, will feature the Argentine writer Juan Sasturain, a key figure in our literature. As is customary, the Fair Night on April 26 will open its doors for free starting at 8:00 PM, allowing everyone to enjoy this magical world of books.

Tickets cost $5,000 from Monday to Thursday and $8,000 on weekends and holidays, but keep in mind that they include discount vouchers and a book voucher worth $8,000 to use at affiliated bookstores after the Fair. If you're one of those who can't settle for just one visit, you can opt for the three-day pass for $12,000.

The Book Fair is not just a place to buy books; it's a space to discover new voices, reconnect with favorite authors, and even get lost in the aisles full of stories. So, if you're in Buenos Aires, don't miss this unmissable event. Because, as we say around here, "a book is always good company."
