Monument to Tango

Puerto Madero
This monument, the work of the sculptor Estela Trebino and the engineer Alejandro Coria, pays homage to the most iconic musical genre of the City of Buenos Aires.

It was inaugurated on November 22, 2007, Music Day.

The abstract figure with a bellows shape is 3.5 meters high, weighs about two tons and resembles a bandoneon, the indispensable instrument in the interpretation of tango.
