In this way, he will present a recorded theatrical performance of some of his successful works from the last 15 years. This Saturday don't miss, El Rey Lear by Alfredo Alcón.

Synopsis:

The tragedy of William Shakespeare starring the always remembered and applauded Alfredo Alcón and directed by Rubén Szchumacher impacts for its interpretive quality and for the modern setting in which the hardships of the human king, orphan of love and victim of the perfidy of his daughters, Goneril (Mónica Santibánez) and Regan (Paula Canals) and unable to recognize the true affection of Cordelia (María Zambelli) who speaks to her with frankness that the king punishes by denying her and punishing her to exile.

Human struggles and passions are also presented in the story of the Duke of Gloucester (Roberto Carnaghi) and the conflict between his sons, the legitimate one (Joaquín Furriel) and the bastard (Juan Gil Navarro). In these games of lies and truth, of fallacies and sincere, the character of the madman appears, represented by Roberto Castro, the only one who confronts Lear with the truth; and the faithful Kent (Horacio Peña) who, disguised, accompanies him to exile.

The austere costumes and scenography of Jorge Ferrari, the design of lights by Gonzalo Córdova, which mark the limit of the scenes, and the clarity of the vocabulary used in the adaptation lead the viewer through a classic of English literature and make them enjoy, for almost two hours, of very good theater.

Schedule it and this Saturday catch Rey Lear at La Plaza Online.
