Anne Frank – Contemporary Ballet of the San Martín Theater

The Ministry of Culture, through the Buenos Aires Theater Complex, offers the play Anne Frank. A choreography by Mauricio Wainrot with music by Béla Bartók with the Contemporary Ballet. This work is part of the historical archive of the San Martín Theater. Anne Frank has scenography and costumes by Carlos Gallardo and lighting by José Luis Fiorruccio and Eli Sirlin.

After its premiere with the Ballet Contemporáneo del Teatro San Martín in 1984, the choreography was staged by more than fifty companies in a score of countries.

Last year, Mauricio Wainrot reassembled his work with the Baltic Opera Ballet, in Gdansk, Poland, on his first visit to the land where he lost many of his ancestors victims of the Holocaust.
