Aura Series at Teatro Colón

This year, the Teatro Colón presents a world-class lyrical offering: the Aura Series, a cycle of four unique concerts starring some of the most dazzling voices on the international scene. Organized in collaboration with Mama Hungara LIVE and Elisa Wagner ICP, the series aims to bring the most extraordinary vocal artistry to Argentine audiences in an intimate and deeply emotional format.

Each concert is a sensory experience celebrating the voice as a sublime instrument:

  • Sunday, August 17 – 5 p.m. Jonathan Tetelman (tenor) + Ángel Rodríguez (piano)
    The Chilean-American tenor makes his Colón debut with arias by Tosti, Massenet, Cilea, Puccini, and Agustín Lara.

  • Sunday, September 14 – 5 p.m. Aigul Akhmetshina (mezzo-soprano) + Jonathan Papp (piano)
    The young Russian sensation will perform opera arias with volcanic intensity.

  • Monday, October 20 – 8 p.m. Elīna Garanča (mezzo-soprano) + Malcolm Martineau (piano)
    She returns to Colón with a recital of memorable arias and popular pieces.

  • Wednesday, December 3 – 8 p.m. Nadine Sierra (soprano) + Bryan Wagorn (piano)
    She closes the series with a night of virtuosity and emotion, following her acclaimed 2022 debut.
