The land on which the Bar Lavalle building stands was inhabited since colonial times, sXVIII because it is scarcely fifteen blocks from the Plaza de Mayo, in the heart of the City of Buenos Airesolar where it is built Bar Lavalle was inhabited from the time of the Colony, around the first historic center.

THE REST BAR LAVALLE is located a few fifteen blocks from the Plaza de Mayo, in the heart of the City of Buenos Aires, in one of the oldest neighborhoods, San Nicolás. This neighborhood took its name from the church of the same name that was built from 1773 to the thirties of the twentieth century, on the grounds of the current Obelisk. In the church of San Nicolás, the national flag was raised for the first time in Buenos Aires.
