In Buenos Aires the options are endless and sometimes it is difficult to decide how to organize a day. Here is a program designed to enjoy, in just 24 hours, a part of the wonders it offers.

8 am
Breakfast in an iconic place: Café Alvear. Located in the historic hotel, a symbol of elegance and history, this room is open for all the public to enjoy a gourmet breakfast in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

9:30 am
Walks and art: Just a 10-minute walk along the large tree-lined esplanade that surrounds the Recoleta Cultural Center, and across the beautiful Plaza Francia, is the National Museum of Fine Arts. Inaugurated in 1895, it is one of the main museums in Latin America and has the largest artistic heritage in Argentina, made up of more than 12,000 works, an artistic library with more than 150,000 volumes and an auditorium of 320 square meters. The variety of its exhibitions and the names of the exhibitors make it a place of great artistic and cultural relevance.

11:30 am
Architecture: A few blocks away is the Faculty of Law, a colossal Greco-Roman style building that turns 200 years old in 2021 and is an icon for its history and architecture. To get there, you have to cross the bridge and, of course, take photos of the postcard that it offers: artistic intervention, view of the city and Figueroa Alcorta avenue decorated with the light blue of the jacaranda trees. From there, walk to the Floralis Generica, located in the Park of Nations: an imposing moving sculpture controlled by a hydraulic system and photoelectric cells that is 20 meters high.



1 pm
Japanese cuisine: 5 minutes by car and 20 on foot is the Japanese Garden. An ideal place to have lunch some typical delicacy of this country in a natural and magical environment, full of plant species that coexist in total harmony.

2:30 pm
Walk in nature: With its bridges, lakes, fish and waterfalls, this space recreates a typical Japanese park in the middle of the city, so after eating you can take a pleasant walk and enjoy the silence, the green and the water seen from the window during lunch. Seeing flowers, lanterns, famous bonsai, azaleas, kokedamas and wonderful orchids up close is an invigorating experience.

4:30 pm
Science, universe and technology: The Galileo Galilei Planetarium, the main center for the dissemination of astronomy in the city, offers, thanks to its state-of-the-art technology, a unique spectacle of the conformation of the universe with thousands of stars, constellations and nebulae from very comfortable seats 4D mobiles in a 20 meter diameter circular room. 6 pm
Green space and relaxation: When leaving the Planetarium, a good idea is to stretch your legs in the surrounding forests and enjoy the outdoors, the trees, the lakes and the friendly geese and ducks that inhabit them.



8 pm
Shopping tour: The sun is going down, but the Plaza Serrano fair continues at full speed with its display of jewelry, decorative objects, hand-woven garments, soaps, incense and an infinity of products made by artisans. It is open until 9 at night.

Aperitif, dinner and outing: Full of life, people and a huge number of bars and pubs, Plaza Serrano is the ideal place to close this walk through the city that does not sleep. A delicious beer or drink, music and dishes for all tastes.
