Ship Museum Fragata ARA President Sarmiento

Puerto Madero
The frigate ARA President Sarmiento became in 1897 the first modern school ship that Argentina had built specifically for that purpose and is a testimony of the days in the naval formation of the Argentine youth.

Built in England, he made 39 trips around the world, traveling a total of 1,100,000 nautical miles, always on a mission of peace.

Currently it is moored in Dique III of Puerto Madero, in the City of Buenos Aires, converted into a museum.
