Teatro Colón
From July 13 to August 3, the majestic Teatro Colón fills with magic through a program specially designed for children. The Colón for Kids series features musical, theatrical, and choreographic performances that blend art, play, and learning on one of Buenos Aires’ most iconic stages.

🩰 Sancho Panza: Adventures in La Mancha


Inspired by the world of Don Quixote, this choreographic version turns Sancho Panza into the hero of a tale of love and bravery. With music by Ludwig Minkus, dancers from the Instituto Superior de Arte and the Teatro Colón Academic Orchestra, the show promises humor, fantasy, and a grand finale celebration.

🎶 Concert Among Cushions


An immersive musical experience in the Golden Hall, where children and adults sit among cushions to enjoy classical pieces like The Carnival of the Animals by Saint-Saëns, The Magic Flute by Mozart, and Rossini’s Duet for Two Cats in a tango version. All performed by ensembles from the Instituto Superior de Arte.

Tickets are available at and at the Teatro Colón box office (Tucumán 1171), Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Advance booking is recommended, as shows tend to sell out quickly.
