In the historic neighborhood of San Telmo and in the context of the most traditional tango house, El Viejo Almacén, famous tango, offers in the other ochava of Balcarce its restaurant. With three floors of lounges, El Mirador with a beautiful terrace on the 3rd floor, the Bandoneón and Mi Buenos Aires Querido on the 2nd and 1st floor offering private lunches and dinners, and the Lobby Bar with large windows with a view to tanguería.

They propose a handmade homemade gastronomy with both international and typical dishes, among them they recommend their classic criollo empanadas, the bife de chorizo, one of their specialties, and their famous old store cake.

For a more international palate they suggest the cream soup of prawns with corn and chilli, the salmon in reduction of oriental sauce or the penne rigatte sautéed with candied tomatoes, smoked turkey, fresh spinach and parmesan.

For dessert the orange mousse in chocolate base and baileys sauce.
