In the very elegant Arroyo street, in the Retiro neighborhood, you will find the “Florería Atlántico” bar; a space that adopts the speakeasy format, the typical American bar behind closed doors. In its upper part there is a flower shop and in the basement, this original bar that makes one think of a long and narrow ship.
According to the 500 leading world cocktail experts, "La Florería", as it is called among regulars, is the best bar in Latin America. The place, which received several recognitions from referents of the gastronomic industry around the world, is inspired by the stories of the immigrants who landed in Buenos Aires between the 19th and 20th centuries. The decor and the drinks tell its story: the drink menu divides the migratory currents of the 1920s. Italy with its aperitifs, spritz, black coffee and even a liquid panna cotta; England with whiskey and gin drinks; culture of cocktails from the United States, beer from Germany, anise from the Turks or wine from the French, Portuguese and Spanish.
In this minimalist space, with the marine air of yesteryear, flowers and bottles of wine for sale, lovers of good food and drink return whenever they can because one visit is not enough and because it is never enough.
