La Mezzetta is hidden in the quiet neighborhood of Villa Ortúzar, a famous family and informal Buenos Aires pizzeria that, since 1930, has been delighting its guests with a pizza made by real experts. La Mezzetta serves some tall mold pizzas, loaded with ingredients and with that oily touch that the local and foreign public like so much. There are four versions: mozzarella, anchovy, napolitana and stuffed fugazzeta: the undisputed star and hallmark of the place. The desserts are very traditional: ricotta cake, dulce de leche cake and, of course, frola quince paste.
