Passage 17

Centro

Directed and created by a group of artists, Pasaje 17 crisscrosses young and consecrated artists proposing new spaces of experimentation, such as bathrooms and stained glass, privileging the quality of the works.

This project was promoted eight years ago by the General Secretary of Apoc, Hugo Buisel Quintana.

A characteristic that has maintained the Gallery, is the diversity of proposals that have been exposed in its scope; artists of great trajectory have participated like Leon Ferrari, Luis Felipe Noé, Daniel Santoro, Dolores Casares, Germán Gargano, Eduardo Stupia, Jorge Gonzalez Perrín, Ernesto Pesce, Andrés Labaké, Fabiana Barreda, among others.

As a distinctive proposal, the Gallery supports emerging artists by crossing them, in the exhibitions, with consecrated artists offering them the Baths and the Stained Glass as alternative spaces to intervene and develop new supports.

The gallery also carries out projects that exceed the purely artistic world by engaging in themes that affect our society, deserve to be highlighted the exhibitions "Let's change" and "The kids of the street" made with the aim of becoming aware of accidents of transit and about vulnerable children, made in conjunction with the producer Caloi in his ink.

In these samples, graphic humorists such as Caloi, Rep, Tabare, Sendra, Liniers, Crist, among others, participated.

"The homeless", photographic sample of Ariel Ballester on the people who live in the street.
