Since its inauguration in 1980, the service has kept alive the essence of the porteño trams, which were a key mode of transportation in the city until they disappeared in 1963. Every detail of the ride is designed to recreate the original experience: from the ticket handout to the motorman’s attire.
The ride, lasting around 20 minutes, departs from the corner of Emilio Mitre and José Bonifacio and operates on weekends and public holidays. It’s a unique opportunity to learn about the history of Buenos Aires' transportation and enjoy a nostalgic journey through one of the city's most traditional neighborhoods.
