La Trastienda

San Telmo

In the heart of the San Telmo neighborhood, the historic center of Buenos Aires, where at the end of the 19th century there was a general store, today is La Trastienda. It opened its doors in December 1993 and its format, Café Concert style tables and chairs, the possibility of drinking at its bars during the show and a first-rate program, made it a benchmark for Buenos Aires culture today.

The proposal was always variety and eclecticism. Its programming covers the most varied musical styles: Pop, Rock, Reggae, Electronic, World Music, Tango, Jazz, Folklore and renowned artists in original formats, such as acoustic, tributes, and covers.

For its room, with capacity for 700 people; International artists such as Jaime Roos, Os Paralamas, Hot Chip, Jarvis Cocker, George Clinton & The Parliament Funkadelics, Ed Motta and Living Color, among many others.
