From August 15 to 17, the Pavilion 6 at Centro Costa Salguero becomes the epicenter of Argentina’s most beloved treat: the Alfajor World Championship. With more than 120 producers from Argentina and 10 other countries, this fourth edition promises a multisensory experience for the whole family.

🏆 19 categories, one champion

Over three days, a panel of expert judges will evaluate more than 35 sensory characteristics in a blind tasting to crown the “Best Alfajor in the World.” Categories include:

• Best dark chocolate


• Best dulce de leche


• Best healthy flavor


• Best texture


• Best triple-layer


• Best regional alfajor (with a focus on the Mar del Plata style)

Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded in each category.
