The hamburger is one of the most recognized dishes worldwide. From large multinational chains to bars, everyone has this food as part of their menu and so classic is that it even has its own day.

Every May 28 the International Burger Day is celebrated , although the origin of this has several versions and its true creator is currently unknown.

A first story associates the inventor of this dish with a group of 19th century chefs, who placed a bit of minced meat between two loaves. In turn, there is a legend that states that it was created in the 14th century by Turkish and Mongolian tribes.

However, another version assures that it was some Germans from the city of Hamburg, who made the hamburger as it is known today. They later traveled to the United States and there the dish took its name.
