In 1985 a neighbor of San Telmo accidentally discovered what is now considered the most important archaeological recovery in the country: the remains of more than four centuries of Buenos Aires life.

You can travel like an underground journey: walk through the labyrinth of its tunnels and the remains of sixteenth-century buildings.

The zanjon ran under this colonial house of 1536. And the legend says that at its side the first foundation of Buenos Aires was made.
