The Colonial Bar

Monserrat

The El Colonial Bar is located in the heart of the old town, in front of the emblematic Otto Wolf building, next to the San Andres Pre-Hispanic Church, one block from the Apples of Lights, and you can see the mural with the advertising of the Polaris refrigerators of the year 1939 that was declared Cultural Heritage of the City.

The most outstanding personalities that passed through his room are: JL Borges, Jacobo Timerman, Ramiro Casasbellas, Tomás Eloy and Dante Caputo, among others. At present, there are artists, singers, painters, poets, historians, customs brokers, professionals and career workers who honor our space. It should be noted that the Bar has several appearances in Argentine cinema: La Hora de los Hornos, Sola Frente al mundo and Nueve Reinas.

El Colonial is a restaurant with a cafeteria atmosphere in Buenos Aires that invites you to savor at breakfast time or snack the best espresso coffee with delicious croissant or accompany it with a wide variety of sandwiches prepared with regional cold meats. At lunchtime we will surprise you with our well-known Argentinian flavors, such as premium meats, pastas, minutes and delicious desserts.
