Cabaña del Tuyú

Belgrano

Cabaña Tuyu dates back to 1927, starting its activities as a classic dairy and cast. Its owners of Guarani origins named the establishment in that way because the few premises in the old Av. Cabildo had the shape of a cabin. Tuyu is a guarani word that means mud being that the roofs and the constructions were marinated.
The tuyu and pampas classic tuyu hut moved to José H ernández and returned from open duty since September 1994 at this location. The same family runs this ice cream shop with the same pillars for 50 years looking for the best quality craftsmanship, constant improvement and satisfactory customer service. The delivery, the cafeteria and the sandwicheria were incorporated as well as the drinks with ice cream, expanding its business in the 2000s.

At present, the three generations of the family keep the ice cream shop with plans to expand not only in other Buenos Aires neighborhoods but also on the Atlantic coast and in the interior of the country.
