Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve

Puerto Madero
With its 350 hectares, the Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve is one of the largest urban reserves in the world and one of the most important in Latin America. It is the most biodiverse place in the city and the habitat of hundreds of species of birds, amphibians, fish and mammals.

The largest green space in the City of Buenos Aires is an unbeatable proposal to get to know the native flora and fauna. Forests, grasslands, lagoons and wetlands are part of this unique place, declared a Ramsar site in 2005 for its global importance as a wetland.
In the Reserve you can travel six trails and four circuits, totaling more than 10 km. Each of them is characterized by its different environments and living beings. The circuits of the wetlands and rivers are the most recommended to travel with children because they are shorter.

Free and free activity. Does not require registration. In case of rain and strong winds, the reserve remains closed, so it is recommended to call before going if the weather is doubtful.
