Created in the year 2001, "The Cultural Center of the Artists" is located in an old conventillo of the year 1881, located in the street Magallanes 861.

Declared as "Of Cultural Interest" and "Of Tourist Interest" both from the City of Buenos Aires and La Nación, and named "Bastion of the neighborhood identity of La Boca" by the City Legislature, it houses several rooms in its rooms plastic artists, and exhibitions are held there.

On the upper floor, we find on the central balcony the statue of Carlos Gardel with another popular idol like Diego Armando Maradona, made by Omar Gasparini.

Previously both dolls were not located on the main balcony, on the entrance of the house, but on the balcony on the right, (seen from the front).

The smiling "Morocho" wears a blue striped suit, with green bow and blue hat, his right arm is flexed at the height of the abdomen, while the left is fully extended, in an attitude of hugging Maradona, although his fist remains closed.

"El Diego", with the number ten in his pants, is dressed in the National Team jersey with the distinctive of the "Argentine Football Association". His left hand holds a soccer ball and with his right thumb he greets passersby.
