Edificio Otto Wulff

On the corner of Belgrano and Perú, the Otto Wulff Building rises as a gem of German modernism. Built in 1914 by Danish architect Morten Rönnow, this Jugendstil-style building dazzles with its atlantes, green domes, and symbolic ornamentation.

It once housed the Austro-Hungarian Empire’s diplomatic offices and still retains its enigmatic aura. Known as “the tower of 680 eyes” for the figures adorning its façade, it remains one of Monserrat’s best-kept secrets.

But there’s more: each month, the building opens its doors for a unique sensory experience. In its main hall, a wine tasting is held featuring selected labels, local pairings, and stories about the building’s history. A proposal that blends architecture, flavor, and memory—perfect for those who savor life slowly.
