Buenos Aires Schedules

The time zone that corresponds to Argentina is GMT-3. It is important to bear in mind that it does not change in the summer months and that, throughout the year, activity in Buenos Aires begins early in the morning and lasts until very late at night.

Shops

They are usually open from Monday to Friday from 9 or 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The shops on the main avenues remain open all afternoon on Saturdays.

Shopping

They open at 9 or 10 am and close at 10 pm, even on weekends and most holidays.

Banks

They are open from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (some banks in the downtown area extend the hours until 4 p.m.). Cash withdrawals and other transactions can be made at ATMs, which operate 24 hours a day.

Foods

The food hours of the porteños are very wide and changing. Breakfast is usually between 7 and 10 am; lunch, between 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. and dinner, between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
