La Calle Bar

Palermo
You are going to eat a pizza at La Guitarrita, suddenly you stop, walk towards the back and open the door. On the other side is a street where there are tables, walls intervened with street art, kermese lights and a large bar. And, suddenly, you are in another universe, which could well be a street in any part of the world, where you can taste the best drinks in Buenos Aires.

Located at Niceto Vega 4942, Palermo, La Calle is a hidden bar whose decoration is literally a street that transports you to different destinations. One of its main attractions is the signature drinks designed by Mona Gallosi, one of the most recognized bartenders in the gastronomic environment. The cocktails are inspired by different countries and that is why they are not only named after cities such as Tokyo, Corso Vittorio or Wellington, but are also made with elements and ingredients characteristic of each place. The gastronomic proposal is simple because it is nourished by La Guitarrita, that is why there are no gourmet dishes, but there are many varieties of delicious pizzas and finger food options such as mozzarella sticks and empanadas.

Like the drinks, the setting also takes its inspiration from places in the world and that is reflected in its street style with intervened walls, a street bench to sit on, posters stuck on the wall, an old motorcycle where everyone takes photos and the brand new DJ VAN, who musicalizes the night with rock, funk, punk or cumbia and generates that free, street and eclectic spirit that makes the essence of the bar.

Above the bar you can read the emblem "Chau, Ley Seca" as a reference to the times of prohibition of alcohol in the United States where, in search of some clandestine drink, people went to the hidden bars that inspired all the speakeasy of the present.
