La Giralda

Since 1951, La Giralda has been more than just a café: it’s a haven of flavor, memory, and tradition in the heart of Buenos Aires. Located at Av. Corrientes 1453, between Uruguay and Paraná, this historic café preserves the spirit of classic bars, with its wooden counter, carved mirrors, and shelves full of bottles that seem to tell stories.

🍫 The ritual of hot chocolate and churros

La Giralda’s undisputed specialty is thick hot chocolate with churros, served rich and warm, accompanied by the hum of the city that never sleeps. While some recent visitors have debated its texture or sweetness, for many it remains an unmissable classic.

🏛️ Living heritage

Reopened in 2021 under new management, La Giralda has retained its original style. Its name pays tribute to the famous bell tower in Seville, and inside hang images that evoke that connection. Today, in addition to its traditional afternoon offerings, it also serves lunch and dinner, expanding its menu without losing its essence.
