Manteca Negra came to the Chacarita neighborhood to banish the myth that vegetarian food is boring. In this small place you will find the best naturist sandwiches, very well accompanied by organic juices and some vegan delicacies. It is the ideal place for those on a plant-based diet and for anyone who enjoys a delicious sandwich on the go.

It is characterized by its huge veggie sandwiches made with fresh and organic ingredients. The key is in the breads, of various flavors and super fluffy, and in the variety of fillings. The proposal is that each one makes their sandwich however they want: with beet, carrot, potato or focaccia bread; with any of the three toppings and two sauces, which can be pesto, arugula pasta, aioli and sun-dried tomatoes, and with fillings such as roasted aubergines, carrots, vegan zucchini omelette, green leaves, pickles or falafel, although the list does not ends here. There are many ingredients to add to the sandwich; it all depends on the imagination and taste of the diners.

In addition, the place offers organic juices served in very rich and healthy jars: fruits and vegetables; peach and strawberry kefir and, for the most classic, beer or lemonade.

Manteca Negra is a very small and rustic space, with a simple sign and a refrigerator in sight, ideal for shopping on the go. It was a small barn in front of the Flea Market until Camila and César, a couple who took advantage of the quarantine to think of a new concept, transformed it into this loving food house for all those who choose a healthy diet free of animal cruelty.

The quality seal of Manteca Negra is that the dishes are prepared at the moment. But it is not just for fans of sandwiches: there are also salads, soups and “full vegan” sweets. The finishing touch? : you can also buy frozen foods such as "burgas", medallions of different flavors prepared with the richest vegetables and legumes.
