The National Institute of Historical Research Eva Perón, created on September 23, 1998 by decree of the National Executive Power No. 1113/98, ratified by National Congress by law No. 26. 596 of May 12, 2010, depends on the Ministry of Culture of the Nation.

It carries out a vast task of rescue and dissemination of the figure of Eva Perón who has left an indelible mark on our history.

In keeping with the above, the Institute promotes historical research on the participation of women in the political, social and cultural life of our country and on the history of Peronism.

It also has a written and oral documentation center, provides advice to researchers, teachers and students and offers talks, workshops and conferences.

Since its creation, it has been established as a reference center for individuals, public and private bodies at municipal, provincial, national and international levels.
