Santos Vega

Palermo
Located in the heart of Palermo Hollywood, Santos Vega is an avant-garde and innovative proposal and the first draft bar in Argentina where cocktails are thrown from a tap system without losing quality.

The main difference between a drink prepared at the moment and one pulled from a tap system is the time and the quality of the flavor. When you order a drink it can take more than half an hour to take it and, if you repeat it, it is likely that the next one will not taste the same; something that should not happen because the drinks usually have exact and mathematically calculated measurements. This innovative system maintains the balance in each of the ingredients and allows the drinks to always have the perfect measurements.

The selection of drinks was made by the renowned bartender Ezequiel Rodríguez, who chose more than 40 different types of whiskey, rum, vodka and gin for the cocktails that make up an eternal menu and with thousands of options ranging from classic to exclusive and modern. The gastronomic proposal accompanies very well and claims its prominence with a short, but sophisticated menu, created by chef Martín Arrieta, founder of some of the most important restaurants in Buenos Aires such as Danzón, Happening and Gardiner. The proposal is varied and is divided into tapas and main dishes. It includes from skewers, potatoes in different versions, pizzas or empanadas to rump with malbec or lemon cream breast.

The place is a spacious hidden-bar with differentiated spaces. It has two floors connected by a small bar and a main room whose stage is a faithful witness to parties and concerts. The arty aesthetic fuses music and gastronomy with an industrial setting: walls covered with sheet metal and cold, low key lighting where the main decoration is the wide shelf behind the bar.
