Soria Bar

Palermo

Soria is a different place. With its charm and unique style it manages to stand out in an area where bars abound. It is located in Gorriti 5151, a few meters from the busy Plaza Serrano, a classic meeting point. It is a space of disconnection to change the air, since it is literally surrounded by high dividing walls that paint the Buenos Aires night green.

It is very easy to find because its facade is painted with many bands of colors and from the sidewalk you can see the green of the trees and the vines that appear above the roof. The bar is set like a huge patio, with high and low tables and some large communal ones. Outside there is a very cool and quiet patio, while inside the climate is more urban: armchairs, art exhibitions and, of course, music.

The protagonist of Soria, the bar, is located on the side and offers the best signature cocktails. In addition, magic boxes are created in the bar, a brilliant idea that arose thanks to the pandemic to bring the bar to homes. They are boxes with bottles of alcoholic beverages and the accompanying preparations: the herbs that give it the touch and, of course, the recipe so that it does not fail.

The gastronomic offer is not far behind and includes abundant dishes with sophisticated flavors such as pumpkin risotto; the Gua Bao gnocchi, which also have their veggie version; the magic gírgolas sautéed with iron with cancha corn, red onion and radishes, and also more informal dishes that go better with a beer, such as hamburgers or breaded prawn fingerfood. Although all the options are very tempting, there is one fact that cannot be escaped: they say that Soria has the best spinach croquettes in Palermo, breaded in panko and bathed in a béchamel sauce.

Soria is a meeting place, music with DJ sets or live guest musicians and a community spirit that opens its doors to everyone, including our four-legged friends.
