Street Food in Buenos Aires according to Netflix

Netflix premiered the series "Street Food Latin America" and had Argentina as the protagonist of the first chapter. These are various stories of Latin American women that show how they have fought to become an icon of food in our region.

The gastronomic journalist Silvina Reusmann chooses to portray us through the barbecue and choripans of "El Puesto de Rubén" on the Racing Club field; the empanadas tucumanas from the Mataderos Fair ; the fugazzetta stuffed with “La Mezzeta”, and the huge omelette by Pato Rodríguez, owner of “Las Chicas de la Tres”, a legendary stall inside the Central Market, whose stuffed omelette enchants renowned chefs and workers from all over the world, for same.

Las Chicas de la 3 is a food store located in pavilion 3 of the Central Market, and the one that tells how the business started is Pato Rodríguez, who put the food stall on her shoulder so that her father would not sell it.

This 6-episode series is based on the “Chef's Table” program, and will travel through 6 countries in Latin America to explore the culture of street food in Oaxaca, Mexico; Salvador, Brazil; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Lima Peru; Bogotá, Colombia, and La Paz, Bolivia. Each episode will focus on the stories of perseverance and culture that bring the gastronomy of each locality to life.
