Are you coming to Buenos Aires with your pet?

Our animals are part of the family and, of course, we choose very well where to take them. If you are one of those people who are never separated from their pet, you have no one to leave it with or you simply think it will have as much fun as you do in Buenos Aires, this is what you need to know:

  • If you come from abroad, dogs and cats must be vaccinated against rabies between 30 days and 12 months before entering Argentina.
  • Within 10 days prior to the trip, a veterinarian accredited to the public body in charge of animal health in your country of residence must complete the Veterinary Certificate of Argentina and include a copy of the anti-rabies certificate.
  • Pets do not require consular approval (that is, you do not have to do any paperwork at the Argentine Consulate).
  • If you come from another place in Argentina, you do not need anything more than to carry your animal's health book, just in case you have to show that it has the vaccinations up to date.

Buenos Aires is a super pet friendly city. Fresh water is invited to them in all the bars, they can enter various places with them and, in addition, there are countless parks and public spaces where they will enjoy as much as you do.
