On one of the sides of the Enrique Larreta Spanish art museum, in the Belgrano neighborhood, there is one of the Croque Madame de Buenos Aires.
It is a way of integrating gastronomy with museums, where this confectionery-restaurant becomes suitable for breakfast, having tea or eating different delicacies.
Its atmosphere is modern, with its dark-colored furniture, windows that let in natural light, and the presence of a garden to eat outside in good weather.
Its gastronomic proposal has French cuisine as the protagonist.
From there, the following stand out in particular: the half plate of cheeses (brie, gruyere, bocconcini, dambo and roquefort) as starters.
Then we can continue with the Malbec tenderloin accompanied by paillason de papas; the prawn risotto; the chicken and leek ravioli au gratin; or the unpostponable "Croque Madame" (in golden butter bread, Gruyère cheese, cooked ham and grilled eggs).
In addition, various sandwich and salad options are offered.
And to finish our experience: chocolate volcano with cream ice cream and orange syrup.
