The place was declared a site of cultural interest by the Legislature of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and Notable Bar by the "COMMISSION OF PROTECTION PROMOTION OF CAFES, BARS, BILLIARDS AND NOTABLE CONFITERIES OF THE CITY".
