The Il Trovatore ice cream parlor was founded in 1963 by Mr. Vito Diana, who arrived from his native Italy with great encouragement in 1952.

In his first years of stay in Argentina he made his first steps as an artisan ice cream maker in the Paco ice cream parlor in San Isidro, working as a master ice cream maker and then as a manager. Currently Vito Diana continues to head the ice cream shop with her family.
They had to spend 11 years of hard work and gain experience in the arts of Artisanal Ice Cream, to then start at their original premises, and to this day, Av. Rivadavia 5078, in the neighborhood of Caballito Ice Cream Shop IL TROVATORE.
