Julia Restaurante

Villa Crespo
Julia is the daughter of the renowned chef Julio Báez and also the name he chose to baptize his select bistro located at Loyola 807.

This sober and modern space with iron pillars and concrete walls, lots of wood and intimate and warm lighting offers dishes that are true works of art not only for their elaboration, but also for their aesthetics. The chef, always attentive to each ingredient and taking care of the smallest detail, works with fresh fish, very good quality meats and vegetables specially chosen by him.

The menu consists of seven starters, three main courses and three desserts. The bread basket includes sourdough bread with butter and pork rinds to "trick the stomach" while choosing, not without difficulty, from the variety of delicacies offered on the menu, which always varies because in Julia it is cooked with seasonal foods. Sweet potato ceviche with tiger's milk, corn, poppies, grapefruit and tapioca; sweet potato okonomiyaki, cabbage, gochujang, wasabi mayonnaise and nori seaweed; ricotta gnocchi; Grilled beef eye or wood-fired catch of the day with salsify, garlic emulsion and noisette butter are some of the most outstanding specialties. The desserts are unmissable and super sophisticated: curry ice cream with spiced biscuit, yogurt, honey and chamomile, custard with celeriac caramel and cheeses with sweet potato or quince paste.

Of course, the dishes are always very well accompanied by the wine list where there are all kinds of reds, whites, rosés and sparkling wines.
