The Flor de Barracas

Barracks

Flor de Barracas is a historic site, also declared a notable bar in the city of Buenos Aires. Located in the neighborhood of Barracas, it exhibits an architecture of 1900, which keeps almost intact through the original floor, tables, chairs and even the old bar, which gives this restaurant a spirit of unequaled still life.

Its cuisine excels fundamentally for the proposal of a Buenos Aires kitchen, with an emphasis on homemade pastas. From there, the gnocchi au gratin stuffed with mozzarella and ham stand out; fried potatoes au gratin with bacon and mozzarella; the lentil stew; the classic puchero; the chorizo or rib eye steak; and the homemade hamburger. And as a sweet pearl, in a space that stands out for the homemade, you can not miss the flan with dulce de leche on the table.
