Pescadito, Cocina de Mar

Palermo
In the Colegiales neighborhood, on the corner of José A. Cabrera 6099 and Dorrego, is Pescadito, the ideal place for fans of seafood cuisine. The menu is really for connoisseurs and includes a wide variety of creative and original dishes. The most requested are the ceviche, the shrimp empanadas, the fish burger and the inevitable squid for starters. The dishes of the day are prepared according to the seasonal fishing and the context, such as the locro version Pescadito on national dates or the rich vigil empanadas at Easter. In addition to the classics, such as the hake filet with potatoes, the papillot with vegetables and the rice with squid, there are dishes to share such as tables, fried cornalitos with lemon or the marine barbecue, which comes with pacú, surubí, boga, provoleta and mushrooms.

With a relaxed atmosphere that makes us feel in a place with the sea, Pescadito has a fresh and minimalist interior with a long turquoise counter. The essence is also reflected outside, in its wooden tables and turquoise upholstered chairs, an awning on each side of the corner and little lights that adorn and enliven. You do not need more, because the magic touch is given by the facade with its large mural of giant octopuses in vibrant colors.

Fridays start with a grill that is lit to prepare delicacies on the coals and with the trays of a DJ that sets the menu of the day to music. In addition, there are usually musical and dance shows with first-rate guest artists. On some occasions, Fernando Romero, the creator of Pescadito, takes the grill out to the patio and cooks to the beat of the music, creating a true beach party in the streets of Colegiales.
