Founded by Emilio Scannapieco in 1938, and having closed and changed premises through history, it is one of the oldest and best known ice cream shops in the city.

During the 40s and 50s, this ice cream shop became a classic in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Villa Crespo. In 2013, Juan Andres, current owner and grandson of Emilio Scannapieco, reopened his premises in the Colegiales neighborhood.

In this ice cream shop they make the best typical flavors Italian style, especially those of nuts, such as pistachio, almonds or hazelnuts. The essence of this ice cream store is to preserve their customs, they continue to use the same recipes without having changed a comma and continue using the same ice cream machines that they used 50 years ago.
