Eléctrica Pizza

Palermo
In this small pizzeria in Palermo, the specialty is sourdough pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven. "La Eléctrica", as it is called in the Buenos Aires gastronomic circuit, has a particular setting: it preserves the authentic facade of a mechanical workshop with its tin signs, the name painted on the wall and decorative objects that seem rusty and give the sensation that time did not pass and that the place is still "Carlos's workshop". The specialty? The classic Argenta pizza with mozzarella, olives, oregano and olive tomato sauce. The star? La Potato, with a delicate layer of roasted potatoes with rosemary, mozzarella and parmesan. Among its premium flavors, mushrooms, truffle oil, kale, rawmesan and other unusual foods for a pizza stand out. And they say that the finishing touch is that they have the best homemade flan in the county.

Although the strength of La Eléctrica are delivery and take away, during the weekend they take tables and chairs out to the sidewalk so that we can all enjoy the setting that exhibits unpainted walls and posters that promote batteries or budget startups. A novelty is that La Eléctrica's pizzas can be found in frozen neighborhood stores and with all the instructions for consuming it at home.

They have take out orders and service.
