Fire cooking, street food, international cuisine, pastry, coffee, wine and cocktails all meet in one place. On September 26 and 27, Food Fest returns to La Rural with free admission and an outdoor proposal to have lunch, enjoy an afternoon snack and discover some of the trends shaping Buenos Aires’ gastronomic scene.

A walk that begins with hunger

You can arrive at noon looking for lunch and end several hours later with a coffee, an ice cream or a cocktail in hand.

That is part of the logic of Food Fest, the gastronomic festival that returns to La Rural on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, from 12 pm to 8 pm. The proposal occupies an outdoor space and brings together different cooking styles in a format designed for walking, choosing and sharing.

There is no single menu or set sequence. Each visitor creates their own route.

From fire to street food

The grill has an important place in the proposal.

Meats, smoked sandwiches, lamb, rotisserie preparations and different barbecue styles coexist with hamburgers, tacos, burritos, shawarma, milanesas and other street food classics. Among the announced participants are projects specialized in meats and smoking such as Todo Brasas, Austin Smoke House and Tres Fuegos, along with proposals like Savage, Shami and Cordero Fans.
