La fernetería Bar & Eatery

Palermo

The Hardware Bar & Eatery is a gastronomic journey through Italy with aperitifs, signature cocktails and Italian dishes that accompany us on this journey of flavors and sensations. Located in the heart of Palermo Soho, and with a warm and modern atmosphere, it is the first hardware store in Buenos Aires.

It is structured in two sectors. Very close to the entrance is La Fernetería Aperitivo , with a bar that connects with the sidewalk and welcomes the public in a more relaxed atmosphere. There you can taste six varieties of Fernet tirado and Los Trapizzinos, with their three varieties of classic Roman street sandwiches. A few steps back, and separated by red velvet curtains, is La Ferneteria Bar & Eatery . A large living room completely restored, with walls that combine different textures such as brick, cement and mosaics and make the rustic blend harmoniously with the modernity of the central marble bar 20 meters long. Ideal to enjoy the best Italian dishes, created by executive chef Ezquiel Iñiguez.

The perfect accompaniment to the aperitif are the classic Trappizzinos: mortadella with pistachios, polpette, Parmegian aubergines, salami or raw ham and mozzarella, and fior de latte with pesto. There are also dishes such as lasagna with chorizo steak, leg of lamb and whole trout with radicchio risotto, all cooked on the grill.

Its spectacular illuminated glass cellar stands out, framed by two works by the plastic artist Nicola Costantino and its kitchen in full view of the diners. The main protagonist is the marble bar with Fernet taps thrown in to prepare signature drinks combined with cola, grapefruit, tonic, orange juice or soda. They also have classic cocktails, beers and the best Italian drinks such as brandies, bitters, vermouths and appetizers. The best signature drinks are the work of Martín Suaya. All combinations can be ordered according to the graduation of the fernet and the desired complement: 30% / 70% or 50% / 50%.

In this journey of sensations, music is very important, that's why a DJ accompanies all night.
